Glissade Shrug
Glissade Shrug
The Glissade shrug gives a little wink to your inner ballerina. The flattering shape and classic ballet wrap waist will give your wardrobe a happy nudge toward the ballet bar. This shrug is knit from the bottom up and joined at the shoulders using the kitchener stitch. A ribbed edging is worked by picking up stitches around the armholes and along the neck. A double knit band is knit and attached to the lower edge of the sweater without seaming. This little sweater covers the shoulders without covering up your favorite tank top or dress. This is a quick project for knitters who love sock yarn but aren’t in the mood to knit socks. Go on: find your inner ballerina.
