Newborn (0-6 months, 6-12 months) 

YARN : 
Skein Yarn Top Draw Sock (85% Merino, 15% Nylon / 100 g skein) or other fingering weight yarn:  
20 (25, 30) yards

FINISHED DIMENSIONS : 
Heel to Toe: 1.75 (2, 2) inches
Circumference: 3.25 (3.75, 4.25) inches

NEEDLES : 
4 size 2 (2.75mm) DPNs or size needed to obtain the correct gauge

GAUGE : 
8 stitches & 11 rows = 1 inch in STOCKINETTE stitch

NOTIONS : 
2 stitch markers & tapestry needle

SKILLS : 
knitting in the round, backward loop cast on & kitchener stitch
