Inertia
Inertia
An object in motion stays in motion, or so says Newton. That’s certainly true of the Inertia Shawl. Once you start knitting it, you won’t be able to stop. The Inertia Shawl is knit from the bottom up using a simple short row garter stitch technique that creates waves of color. It can be knit in two to twenty-four colors, making it a wonderful pattern for stash busting. This pattern includes a worksheet to calculate yardages for all types of yarn and a coloring sheet to fiddle with colors. If you are new to short rows, don’t worry. This pattern also includes a short row photo tutorial. Get some momentum and have fun!
