Around Every Corner
Around Every Corner
The Around the Corner shawl is triangle shawl knit seamlessly from the top down. The pattern includes basic intarsia worked in garter stitch. If you are new to intarsia, this shawl is a great place to try the technique for the first time. The pattern includes straight forward instructions and an intarsia photo tutorial. Plus, this is the perfect project for stash busting your mini skeins! This pattern also includes instructions for adjusting the size of the shawl to fit your MC yardage.
The Around Every Corner shawl is inspired by the incredible gardens at Allerton Park. When I first visited in 2019, I was overwhelmed by the beauty of this hidden gem. The lush gardens and remarkable sculpture garden create a surprise at every turn. This shawl was designed to celebrate those little moments that take your breath away. Using relaxing garter stitch, a bouquet of colors, and simple intarsia, you will create a shawl that is delightfully surprising around every corner.
