Little Nar-Cat
a knitted giggle
$7.00
Everyone deserves a ridiculous, over-the-top sweater. The Nar-Cat sweater is meant for knitters who love fantastical creatures. In this sweater, you can choose one of two crazy creatures: a Narwhal (real, but so weird) or a Caticorn (not real, but so cute). This intarsia pullover is unapologetically silly, with a smiling creature face on the front and a cute tail on the back. In the long tradition of crazy, intarsia animal sweaters, this pullover is the newest iteration of wildly fun, way-too-much fashion.
This pattern is knit in two pieces from the bottom up. The front panel is knit flat. Next, the back panel is knit flat. Then, the front and back panel are SEAMED at the sides. Sleeves are picked up and knit in the round from the underarm to the wrist.

NOTE: Narwhals do not have horns. What looks like a horn is actually a tooth. Caticorns do have a horn. For simplicity, if not accuracy, both the Narwhal and the Caticorn motifs are topped with a “horn” in this pattern. Don’t worry, science and I know the truth: that pointy thing on top of your narwhal is a tooth.
